C4e on a science mission in the USA
Representatives of the C4e participated in a scientific mission aimed at establishing and developing cooperation with American cyber-security research institutions organized by the Czech Ambassador for Science Luděk Moravec.
At the mission the members of the C4e discussed ways to collaborate on scientific projects and publications with George Mason University, Gorgetown University, George Washington University, and NIST.
Also discussed was the possibility of engaging of the C4e in the activities of the Security and Software Engineering Research Center (S2ERC), which is a science center of excellence funded by the NSF (National Science Foundation), in which several scientific institutions are involved.
The C4e representatives also took part in the S2ERC SHOWCASE event, at which the C3ERC's researchers presented present and proposed research projects.
In this way, we would like to thank the Ambassador for the perfect organization of the mission and all the host institutions for a warm welcome. We are looking forward to further cooperation.
